A huge thanks to everyone who came to our first clean-up event with Sustainable Coastlines. We had around 50 volunteers including Drury School families, a crew from Dempsey Wood Civil, Iwi represtentatives, Chris from Slippery Creek Kayak Hire, French tourists, neighbours and the Auranga team.

In total, we collected 15,611 items or 4,000 litres of rubbish (about half a tonne). The top five rubbish items made up 14,350 of the total with plastics the biggest culprit.
